In 1984 Paul and I founded DSP-groep. My career and the development of expertise and competencies are closely linked to the growth and expansion of DSP. Coordinating complex research and managing development projects is what I do, and what I like, best. I strive to utilize the qualities of people, giving them space to learn and develop. I consider it a challenge to connect people with different and sometimes conflicting interests and reach a common goal.

I am active in various fields, including youth, crime and safety. Combining insights from these various fields contributes to the integrated vision and mission that I think we need. And with every mission I keep in mind who ultimately (in addition to the client) must benefit from the outcomes: the youth or victims of crime.
