Profile

As a consultant at DSP-groep I get enthusiastic about implementation processes, process management and policy development.  My areas of expertise include the social domain, safety and (youth) care. I like to work at the intersection of these fields, connecting people, organizations at operational, tactical and strategic level. Being the linking pin, the spider in the organizational web.

Experience

After studying Sociology, I completed both a Master’s in Criminology and a Master’s in Sociology. During these studies I worked at the integral security department of a municipality and a Dutch Crime and Law Enforcement Study Center. After my study I worked at the  municipality of Amsterdam as project secretary on the development of integrated person-oriented approaches in safety and care. I also worked as a consultant at the Center for Crime Prevention and Security (CCV).
Currently I work (on a subcontract) as project secretary at Youth Care in The Hague, where I am involved in the implementation process of the new Functional Family Parole (FFP). FFP is a working method that puts the safety of the child as the central issue. My next subcontract will start shortly with the Home Seater Approach Program in Amsterdam. The ambition of this program is to help children who dropped out of school to find the proper care or education within three months.
