Public transport from Amsterdam Central Station
At Amsterdam Central Station take bus 48 towards ‘Houthavens’. You will see the bus stop when you walk out the front of Central Station with the canal boats on your right hand side. Bus 48 will take you to Barentzplein which is where you get off the bus (second stop). Walk along the curve into the Van Diemenstraat. After about 200 meters you will see the ‘Ypoint’ building.
Walk from Central Station (15 min.)
Walk out the back of Central station (water side) and turn left along the ferries. Follow the banks of the River IJ, the road curves right over the bridge. Walk along this road for about 500 meters, passing two sets of traffic lights. The road curves left – keep following this road which is the Van Diemenstraat. After about 200 meters you will see the ‘Ypoint’ building.
Car and car park
See Google Maps for directions by car. The rate for parking in the streets before the bridge is € 4.00 per hour. Across the bridge, the rate is € 3.00 per hour. You can pay at a vending machine. Parking space is scarce in the center of Amsterdam (more information about parking in Amsterdam).
IJ point
We are situated in the IJ-point building. The pictures on this page show the Van Diemenstraat and the entrance of the building (red brick with semicircular extension). It is the third large building on the right as you enter the Van Diemenstraat from the direction of Central Station. You will find our offices on the first floor, go left after the swinging doors at the end of the corridor.
